The page on the left is for listing what your grateful for now. I purchased the gratitude book along with the diary, and it seems redundant, but it does help me to separate my need to journal sometimes from my need to list my goals in gratitude mode. I like that the gratitude book isn't dated and doesn't have the days on each page, so you can start any day. The page on the right is for listing future intentions, things you want, so you state your gratitude for them in the present tense on that page.I like the old world look of the book and magnetic closure. It's really lovely and would make a great gift.
I thought it would be more of a "workbook," with guidance from the author. The book, itself, is lovely. Nope. But it is JUST a journal. With blank pages. Just pretty little blank pages. Disappointing, as I'm not a big journaling person.
i am not satisfied with this book because as it names said IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN A BOOK. It is mostly like a notebook with a gratitude thought for every day. Therefore, it is important that you put a little description of the book so that the buyers can be truly informed about the book before they order it.
Advantages: This book has a very elegant leatherish cover with a magnetic lock. There are wise quotes scattered at the bottom of each pageDisadvantage: Basically its similar to a lined notebook except it has has really fancy cover. Disappointed for the lack of content.However if someone is interested in a fancy notebook to write your daily gratitudes, then this is worth your purchase.
After watching the DVD and putting into practice The Laws of Attraction I was thrilled that one of my friends who was equally enthusiastic about The Secret as me, recommended this beautiful journal. If you can afford to buy a real Chanel bag - then you will - otherwise you will have to go for the $20 copy. Well worth every penny.And let me just say, for the reviewer here that mentioned "wouldn't a spiral notebook work just as well." Well.
It's a daily reminder that being negative doesn't get you anywhere - no matter how bad the situation may be. It's the perfect setting to record your thoughts and it has beautiful quotations interspersed throughout the journal. It helps to keep me focused on the positive to attract the correct things I desire in my life.
Not really. I write in it almost daily and take it with me traveling. It's compact, well designed and it's beautiful.
